Students in Thayer classes are welcome to become members of the Cable Makerspace community, and our laser cutter can be used occasionally for ENGS projects as long as students are working within our policies and taking good care of our space. Here are the guidelines for using the laser cutter for your ENGS projects:
Cable Makerspace Access
- Everyone is welcome during open hours (Monday-Friday 10:00 am - 7:00 pm)
- For after hours access, complete the safety training (in person and online) and sign a safety contract. You may schedule a safety training here.
- Cable Makerspace users are expected to be kind and respectful to TAs and other users of the space.
